To strengthen internal systems and enhance team efficiency, Olive Community Development Initiative (OCDI) held a two-day internal capacity building workshop for staff on October 6 and 7, 2025.
The first day of the training focused on organizational policy awareness, accountability, and best practices in NGO administration. Staff reviewed and updated internal policies, reflected on their roles within the organization, and aligned their responsibilities with OCDI’s mission of supporting women, girls, youths, and other vulnerable groups in the community.
The sessions encouraged open dialogue on staff welfare, ethical work culture, and operational transparency, fostering a shared understanding of how strong internal systems contribute to improved program delivery and impact.
The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Olufunmi Olutoye Gabriel, National Project Manager at HRMDS Consulting Limited. Through a practical and engaging policy review process, the facilitator reinforced the importance of informed staff and structured policies in driving sustainable and effective development outcomes.
