Celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child at Offa Grammar School

On October 13, 2025, Olive Community Development Initiative (OCDI) visited Offa Grammar School in Offa Local Government Area to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child. The engagement delivered a strong message that girls are not only beneficiaries of change but leaders driving it. The session highlighted the realities girls face in a world challenged by gender-based violence, climate change, and digital inequality. Through interactive discussions, the girls were encouraged to own their identity, recognize their influence, and step confidently into leadership roles despite existing challenges. Through this outreach, OCDI reaffirmed its commitment to creating safe spaces where girls can learn, lead, and advocate for their rights with confidence, contributing to more inclusive and equitable communities.
