Capacity Building for Young Market Women in Partnership with Tech4Market Women
On September 11, 2025, Olive Community Development Initiative (OCDI), in partnership with Tech4Market Women, conducted a capacity building session for over 15 market women aged 18 to 35 years. The training was designed to equip young women entrepreneurs with essential business and financial management skills to support the growth and sustainability of their businesses. The session focused on practical areas including record keeping, tracking income and expenses, sales monitoring, and guidance on accessing loans and grants. Participants were provided with knowledge and tools to improve business decision making and strengthen their financial confidence. This initiative aimed to empower women-led small businesses by providing relevant resources and training, promoting inclusion and confidence building, and expanding access to financial opportunities. Through this effort, OCDI continues to support sustainable livelihoods, strengthen women-owned enterprises, and promote the economic independence of young women entrepreneurs.
